What is Indian Head Massage?
Indian Head Massage is a complete massage treatment, which involves working on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. It is a traditional Indian treatment, which has now become popular in the West.

It can be a complete treatment with oils lasting for about 20 minutes, where the client takes clothing just off the shoulder and neck area. More commonly it is being used very effectively within the workplace environment as a 5 10 minute quick stress-busting treatment, which is completed dry and without the need for undressing. This is a form of 'on-site' massage and the simplicity of this treatment is that it can be done anywhere! No clothing needs to be removed and only a chair is required.

The treatment works on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face, using a variety of massage movements to:
Relieve accumulated tension in the muscles.
Restore joint movement.
Relieve headaches.
Relieve eyestrain.
Relieve tension in the face particularly around the jaw.
Aid sinus congestion.
Aid the condition and health of the hair, particularly when combined with the use of natural, organic oils.

Psychologically the treatment has the following effects: -
Relieves stress and tension
Improves concentration, energy and creative drive
Rebalancing of the Chakra energies takes place
Rejuvenating and energising
Relaxing
